For the past 20 years, Maya Santangelo has been working exclusively as a professional muralist and painter. Painting in acrylic or oil paint, on canvas or directly on location, she prides herself on being able to paint in any style requested.

Previously based in San Francisco, and then Los Angeles, she had the opportunity to work on many high profile jobs. Working as part of a team with other studios, or as a self-employed artist, she has created artwork for celebrities, restaurants, hotels, casinos, cruise lines, stores, television shows, and private residences.

Maya enjoys being able to interprete her client's wishes through the design process, by working together to come up with a mural or painting that enhances a space. Having the ability to paint in a multitude of different styles helps her satisfy her client's desires for art that speaks to them.

Currently, Maya Santangelo is based in Norwalk, Connecticut. She continues to work on mural projects, especially as a part of a team of artists who paint each new Cheesecake Factory restaurant.
